DU REDCap Support

The aim of the guide is to provide tutorials, feature support, and troubleshooting to help University of Denver researchers effectively use the REDCap secure, web-based application for their data collection and management needs.

Help! I can't log into REDCap...

Step 0: Do you have a DU REDCap account? If not, please see "Getting access to REDCap."

Step 1: Be sure that for username, you're entering your DU email address without the @du.edu attached (firstname.lastname).

  •  I know it seems like we're overemphasizing this step, but your browser will be actively trying to "help" by filling in different usernames that you use on other DU sites.

Step 2: Test whether you can log into MyDU -- if your MyDU password has expired, you'll need to change your MyDU password before you can log into REDCap.

Step 3: If Steps 1 and 2 don't solve your login problem, please email it.redcap@du.edu and explain that you've tried both steps 1 and 2 yet still can't log into your REDCap account.

Help! I'm logged in but can't see my project...

Once you have a DU REDCap account, your PI/project administrator can grant you user rights to view and/or edit the projects you need to access.
