Welcome to a guide in progress!

This guide was started to support research in Dr Matt Gordon and Dr. Scott Leutenegger's LLC 2021 course, "Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Ethics in Technology." The creator of the guide is a cisgender white woman who is far from an expert in this area, but I'm hoping to provide you with links to the people who are doing the work on diversity and equity in STEM. Feedback is welcome!

Organizations working towards justice, equity, and diversity in STEM

Vanguard STEM
Vanguard: Conversations with Women of Color in STEM, or #VanguardSTEM for short, is an online platform and community that centers the experiences of women of color, girls of color and non-binary people of color in STEM. Founded and managed by Dr. Jedidah Isler, a professor of astrophysics at Dartmouth College.
Girls Who Code
An organization working to increase gender diversity in computer science and increase participation among young women who are historically underrepresented in computer science fields.
