This guide will provide resources that can help with, evaluating information for credibility and quality, analyzing relative risks and benefits, calculating medication dosages, interpreting test results, locating useful health information.
When looking for health information on the web, it is important to understand that not everything you find will be useful or reliable and everything should be evaluated to ensure that the information you are getting will be helpful. If you are ever unsure about the resource you are looking at, you can contact the Research Center at the Main Library in the Anderson Academic Commons or your local public library for help. While we are not qualified to provide health information, we are always happy to help you find reliable resources you can use and/or health professionals that will be able to provide information and advice for your individual health concerns.
