The Museum of Anthropology Gallery presents temporary exhibits each year on the first floor of Sturm Hall. University of Denver students work with museum staff to transform the 720 square foot space. Gregg Deal was the featured artist for the 14th annual Indigenous Film and Arts Festival. In his exhibit, Not Your Indian, which was on view at the University of Denver Museum of Anthropology October 6-19, 2017, Deal confronted misconceptions about Indigenous people in North America that are still perpetuated in popular media and fine art.
