University Libraries contains millions of research resources, many of which are available electronically from the library’s webpage at library.du.edu. Search for books using the Library Catalog (see image to the right) and find articles by searching Summon@DU, selecting or selecting one of the databases listed by subject or by title in the A-Z list in the Databases section, where you can access all our subscription databases . Use the Full text/Article Linker button in our databases to find the full text of an article. To access the library’s resources from off-campus, log in with your DU ID and password.
If University Libraries doesn’t have an item, use the Prospector link (see image at right), located under "Books, Journals, and More" on the main library page to request a book from another library. Prospector is a unified catalog of academic, public, and special libraries in Colorado and Wyoming. Through Prospector you have access to over 30 million books, journals, sound recordings, films, videotapes, and other materials held in these libraries. With a single search you can identify and borrow materials from these collections. Requested materials usually arrive at the Main Library within 3-5 days.
