The Dead Sea Scrolls are a collection of ancient Jewish texts first discovered at Khirbet Qumran in Israel in 1947. Together these texts offer students and scholars a unique window into an ancient sect on the margins of Jewish society. This guide is curated by a doctoral student in Religious Studies/New Testament and we welcome suggestions from users.
