- Chicago Manual of StyleThis is the 16th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS). The index makes it easier to navigate appropriate sections. We also have the book in print. The humanities style uses notes and a bibliography. Scholars in the physical and social sciences tend to prefer the author-date system.
