1. Pull the black metal plate of the microform scanner towards you. This will cause the glass to lift. A video should appear in the right hand corner of the computer screen instructing you how to load your microform. Once the film is properly loaded, push the black plate all the way back.

2. If you are using a microfilm roll, use the Motorized Roll Film Control box to advance or rewind film.

3. If you are using a microfiche sheet, adjust the black plate torward you and to the right until you see the first page of the microfiche on the computer screen.
