 This guide provides suggestions for citing some of the material used in business research using the APA style guide, 6th, 2010 ed.  The general APA format for citing using this edition is:

Book: 

Author, A. A., Author, B.B., & Author, C.C. (year). Title of work. Location: Publisher.

Author, A. A. (2000). Title of work. Retrieved from http://www.xxxxxxx.

Periodical:

Author, A. A., Author, B.B., & Author, C.C. (year). Title of article. Title of Periodical, xx, pp-pp. doi:xx.xxxxxxxxxx

(The DOI is a digital object identifier that most articles from scholarly journals have assigned to them)

Chapter:

Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (year). Title of chapter or entry. In A. Editor, B. Editor, & C. Editor (Eds.), Title of book (pp. xxx-xxx). Location: Publisher.

NOTE:  If there are no dates use the following notation in its place:  (n.d.)
